Update on the Market
We closed the Market on July 6, 2022 for a major environmental improvements project. A scientific team we hired documented dozens of hotspots of asbestos, leadpaint and mold that we addressed with the support of a $202,000 grant from the Colorado Dept. of Public Health and the Environment. We also had to buld a new 3-hour fireall between the two floors above the grocery store. Our work was completed in April 2025 and we reopened the Market on May 21, 2025. We can now offer healthy food in a safe and clean environment. Below are selected photos of what the Market looks like today.
